Bulkhead Adapter 1.5" Tri-Clamp

Easily convert your kettle or lid to Tri-Clamp with this weldless Tri-Clamp bulkhead fitting! Drill a hole in your vessel and screw in the adapter. Done! Now you can connect any 1.5" Tri-Clamp fitting on the outside of your kettle or lid. Great for adding CIP fittings or anywhere you want to add a Tri-Clamp fitting without welding.

• Inner diameter 34.8 mm
• Tri-Clamp flange size 1.5" or 50.5 mm
• Wrench flats 52mm

The optimal hole size is 41mm, but you can also drill a 40mm hole and file it out to 41 mm. A 42mm hole will also work. A hole punch is much easier to use than a step bit or drill bit. Make sure the hole is completely deburred on both sides before installing the fitting.

The wrench flats on the locknut are 52mm. To tighten the fitting, connect a Tri-Clamp fitting to the flange to help hold it while turning.
