HERMS Coil Threaded Adapter Tri-Clamp 1.5" x 1/2" Female

The adapter is intended to install on our new HERMS coil with 1/2" BSP threads when the coil is permanently installed in the kettle using the threaded lockrings. It cannot be used to install the HERMS coil through a Tri-Clamp port, for that we have a separate product here.

Easily convert your HERMS coil to Tri-Clamp! Seals with an EPDM flat washer and installs by hand for fast installation and removal (no Teflon tape or tools required). Outside the kettle you can attach any standard 1,5? Tri-Clamp fitting.

Specifications:

• Tri-Clamp size 1.5"
• Inner diameter: 11 mm
• Thread: 1/2" BSPP female
• Gasket: EPDM
• Minimum thread length required to install properly: 9mm

The fitting includes a robust EPDM gasket specially sized for this application. It is more tear resistant than silicone and seals without compressing into the fluid path.

Make sure you have at least an 9mm length of male threads available where the fitting will be installed on the coil, otherwise it will not seal.

Note: This product is intended for use with the BrewPi coils which are also sold here in our shop. It requires a sufficiently wide flat surface on the coil fitting to make a proper seal. May not work with other 1/2" threaded HERMS coils.
