Product Description

A bespoke electronic controller with process management to help get your brew right every time! EINBREW controllers combine accurate temperature control and timing with stage and hop alarms to give you an enhanced brewing experience. The 3V3P is a nanobrewery controller with external relays used to control the heat and timing of a 3 vessel, 3 pump system. This version of the controller is adapted for our 83L HERMS Trio system: it includes 4 25A relays and 2 relay signal splitters, to allow seamless control of the multiple heating elements in the HLT and brew kettle.

The custom controller from EINBREW - made in the UK - lets you setup your brewing recipe before you start, with support for up to 9 mash stages and 9 hop insertions. Convenient audible alarms alert the brewer to important events and step changes during the brewing process: mash-in, mash-out, boiling, hop insertions and cooling. The system automatically controls to your set temperatures, and rests for the times you define. A custom control algorithm helps to prevent overshoot and oscillation. Attention to small details such as the pump ventilation cycling and boil detection feature show that this product was built for serious homebrewers.

Important: this controller requires significant electrical planning and installation. Please consult a professional electrician. You must be sure to use an appropriate GFI outlet and circuit breaker sized for the load.

The 3V3P Supports four heating elements (simultaneous usage) of up to 14A @ 230V. A double batch (i.e. starting the second batch while the first batch is boiling) is possible with the 3V3P.

The controller includes:
  • 4 x 25A Relays with 6mm2 Live and Earth leads, control signal leads, heatsinks and covers
  • 2x Relay signal splitters
  • 3 PT100 temperature probes (3m)
  • 1 C13 power input lead for controller
  • 3 C14 power output plugs for pumps
  • 1 USB-A to USB-A lead
  • User instructions in English

PC logging software BREWTEX is available for download at the EINBREW website here. The EINBREW 3V3P is CE marked and conforms to all relevant EU legislation.

Product Safety Information

  • Please inspect your EINBREW controller and accessories for damage when you receive it. If there is any damage, please do not use the system and contact your supplier or Support for assistance.
  • Do not operate the system if the power leads show any signs of damage or wear.
  • If you need to clean the surface of your EINBREW controller, please ensure that it is fully disconnected from the mains supply beforehand. We recommend removing the plug from the socket to ensure disconnection. Use only a damp cloth and do not allow liquid to come in contact with the EINBREW controller, and ensure the vessel is dry before reconnecting the electricity supply.
  • The EINBREW controller MUST be used with a RCD/GFCI/RCBO device. Ensure that you test it prior to every use. Installation by a competent person (e.g. Electrician) is required.
  • Ensure that any power leads are fully unwound during use. If using any extension leads, ensure that they are fully unwound and have an adequate current capacity when unwound.
  • EINBREW controller is not to be used by children or vulnerable adults, or around pets. Please ensure that the device is only used with adequate supervision to ensure safety.
  • EINBREW controller does not contain any internal user serviceable parts, and should not be disassembled or repairs attempted. Please contact your supplier or Support for any assistance required.
  • Ensure that EINBREW controller is positioned as far away as possible from liquids and vapours being used in the brewing process or condensate paths that may form – its enclosure is not water-tight.
  • You must manually control the Pumps during brewing. This is especially important if you are using a RIMS system, as it can be dangerous to operate the heater without the pump and water circulation.
  • Do not operate your brewery or EINBREW controller unless you are certain it has been correctly and safely setup. You may need to refer to a qualified/licensed electrician to achieve this.
  • DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT AS AN ISOLATION DEVICE, TO ISOLATE PUMPS, ELEMENTS OR ANY EQUIPMENT.
