Product Description

A bespoke electronic controller with process management to help get your brew right every time! EINBREW controllers combine accurate temperature control and timing with stage and hop alarms to give you an enhanced brewing experience. The 3V2P is used to control the heat and timing of a 3 vessel, 2 pump system.

This special version of the 3V2P powers four heating elements via four external 25A relays. The relays are connected via signal cables to the main controller, which switches on two heating elements simultaneously. You can fire two heating elements at the same time in one kettle, and both heating elements in one kettle are switched together. This version is perfect for a large (85L and 115L) HERMS trio with four 3200W 230V heating elements. The installation requirements are higher than with the standard 3v2p, so you should hire a professional electrician to wire the controller to your heating elements.

The 3V2P Supports four heating elements (two heating elements at a time) of up to 25A @ 230V. Because the 3v2p does not allow use of all heating elements simultaneously, a double batch (i.e. starting the second batch while the first batch is boiling) is not possible.

The controller includes:

  • 4x 25A External relays with heat sink
  • 3 PT100 temperature probes (3m)
  • 1 C19 power lead (2m)
  • 2 C14 to Schuko plug adapters (1m) for the pump
  • User instructions in English

The EINBREW 3V2P is CE marked and conforms to all relevant EU legislation.

Important: Consult a professional electrician. You must be sure to use an appropriate GFI outlet and circuit breaker sized for the load.

Product safety information

  • Please inspect your EINBREW controller and accessories for damage when you receive it. If there is any damage, please do not use the system and contact your supplier or Support for assistance.
  • Do not operate the system if the power leads show any signs of damage or wear.
  • If you need to clean the surface of your EINBREW controller, please ensure that it is fully disconnected from the mains supply beforehand. We recommend removing the plug from the socket to ensure disconnection. Use only a damp cloth and do not allow liquid to come in contact with the EINBREW controller, and ensure the vessel is dry before reconnecting the electricity supply.
  • The EINBREW controller MUST be used with a RCD/GFCI/RCBO device. Ensure that you test it prior to every use. Installation by a competent person (e.g. Electrician) is required.
  • Ensure that any power leads are fully unwound during use. If using any extension leads, ensure that they are fully unwound and have an adequate current capacity when unwound.
  • EINBREW controller is not to be used by children or vulnerable adults, or around pets. Please ensure that the device is only used with adequate supervision to ensure safety.
  • EINBREW controller does not contain any internal user serviceable parts, and should not be disassembled or repairs attempted. Please contact your supplier or Support for any assistance required.
  • Ensure that EINBREW controller is positioned as far away as possible from liquids and vapours being used in the brewing process or condensate paths that may form – its enclosure is not water-tight.
  • You must manually control the Pumps during brewing. This is especially important if you are using a RIMS system, as it can be dangerous to operate the heater without the pump and water circulation.
  • Do not operate your brewery or EINBREW controller unless you are certain it has been correctly and safely setup. You may need to refer to a qualified/licensed electrician to achieve this.
  • DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT AS AN ISOLATION DEVICE, TO ISOLATE PUMPS, ELEMENTS OR ANY EQUIPMENT.
